Pros
Paramit Malaysia offers valuable exposure as part of a multinational corporation managed by the Tecan Group. The company encourages lifelong learning and actively promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in its practices. For young professionals interested in the medical device manufacturing industry, this environment has strong potential for talent development and career growth.
Cons
Paramit Malaysia has the potential to be a great company, but poor leadership significantly undermines this potential. The work environment is toxic, part of it due to the practices of the HR department, which closely monitors and ‘stalks’ employees’ movements, fostering a culture of distrust. The HR Head, in particular, displays a lack of professionalism and leadership, often being narcissistic and emotional when managing people issues. Ironically, the HR department has the highest attrition rate among all departments, contributing to the toxic environment. A change in leadership and management practices is needed to create a healthier workplace culture
