Pros
Direct access to leadership (both market and executive teams). Compensation packages really benefit the employee (i.e. fully paid insurance, phone coverage, ESOP, 401k). Employees work together and truly lean on each other to develop and grow together. Opportunity to learn and do a lot of different things--- which can also be a con. Great teammates that truly feel like a family.
Cons
Ability to get exposure to do a lot of different things but it a lot of times without the resources you need, feels like your teammates expect you to either know it already or figure it out. It's a growing firm so we can no longer ensure every decision is the best for all employees, no matter how hard our exec team tries--- this impacts morale in certain teams which is never fun.
