- ALWAYS a loooooot of work.
- Always pressuring timelines and deadlines because they want to impress clients.
- A lot of the space for creativity and innovation has been left out due to only doing projects for clients and not having enough devs.
- You will do overtime always, and everyone does it. And I would even dare to say its expected.
- Salaries are not good.
- Everyone is super busy and have little time to help you out. This is always. They have good or at least fair documentation and expect you to figure out everything on your own.
As Product Manager:
For the product manager development process they lost a bit of sight of PMing, since HoP and the whole company overall wants you to be technical and focus on that. Yes, it is a technical product, but that should be the Engineers job, to shape the PMs ideas and solutions. They want you to think as a developer, and by so every document, every proposal and idea has to shaped as such. I really disliked this. Devs always complained about everything not being technically good enough.
There should be middle ground that would allow PMs more problem solving creativity.
