Owned by a private equity company that is trying so hard to make the company look good that they will trim anyone to save a few dollars. They have gone through multiple waves of lay offs and management tries to keep it hush hush instead of owning up to it.
They have laid off essential employees who handled a large workload only to dump that work on others.
Communication is extremely poor and you hardly feel connected to the company. The CEO is rather elusive and most people only see or hear from him on the town hall.
Don’t expect a bonus. Before our company merged with Peak we were hitting our bonus goal every quarter. Since the merge, we have not received one bonus because of the insane goals created to appease those at the very top.
They will also give you the most minimal raise possible and if you try to ask for more, management will tell you they would have to take from a different employee to give you a better raise.
As rewards they give you credits towards a storefront that only sells Peak branded merchandise that is ridiculously priced. A company of this size should just be providing tshirts and water bottles with the company name. It’s sad that if managers want to show their appreciation to employees, it comes out of their own pocket.
Overall, a very poor company to work for.
