The kids are amazing and the playgrounds and buildings are very accessible and well built for the clients
Cons
If you want to be treated like a replaceable staff, instead of a “family” like they claim they want, this is the place for you. They shower new hires with compliments, and neglect staff when they’ve been there for a while. Definitely putting on a fake face for new people. If you bring up burn out, they just tell you that you should “know why you’re doing what you’re doing” instead of addressing the poor pay. Admin have favorites, you can’t make schedule requests, and you’re really lucky if you can get a proper bathroom break. There’s a huge reason for the turn over rate, it’s because they don’t value your work, and it is exhausting. Lots of people who work there who do not care about the kids, and are very obvious about it, but don’t get written up for treating the kids as such. Bad environment.
