Pros

- Pendleton’s ceiling is higher than 99.5% of retail brands. if they ever get it right, watch out. it feels meaningful to help them move in the right direction. - blanket discount! - you get to learn a lot, if you are curious enough to prod, at a unique 150 year old vertical manufacturing company - friendly and well-meaning family owners - company history so rich they have more content to pull from than your favorite 10 brands combined - there are a few gem employees to build on. when you find them, befriend them and break things together in the face of 300 year old company policy - romance novels in break rooms - every employee is accessible - the people here are generally good - you can get a ton of experience and ownership in your area if you push for it

Cons

- there is no “why” to get behind. outside of your own internal motivation, there is no central heart or cause thats unites employees - stale work environment - lack of progressive thinking, old business systems, slow to adapt to technology changes - this company’s success relies too heavily on brand history. - the brand looks too different, depending on where/how you access it - most departments do a poor job in defining growth opportunities (in pay or in role) -

Pros

Flexible schedule, great co workers, chill and friendly environment, low stress, amazing discount, set schedule if applicable, plenty parking, family feel Just all around one of the best places I've worked part time

Cons

Pay is very low for such a higher end company and can be very boring during the slow months. And there's little to no room for growth within the company because nobody leaves
