Pros
1. Timely salary . It is paid on the last working day of the month 2. Good peer group (now all ex employees) which helped you grow. 3. Some good consulting work with best of the companies (who have since moved on due to talent drain in the firm across all locations)
Cons
1. This company is a good place for sycophants - you can survive/thrive for years without doing anything and still be promoted/recognized every year. All you have to do is be the "Yes Man" of national Leadership. So if you have this skill set, nothing like it. Expect a meteoric career here. 2. Second core skill that is essential is the ability to gossip and bicker - this is desired from peon to the national leadership level. This works wonders if you gossip with the national leaders as they keep ensuring that you are taken care off. 3. You need to be able to claim others work to be your own - the skill of copy pasting and presenting as your own is lauded here. The leadership daily claims to know who's who from each of the big companies .. just that they don't know our leaders ;) 4. The company owners and leaders keep on claiming about their supernatural powers and out of the world consulting knowledge as the key to success of the firm. The people who have helped this firm grow are not acknowledged or recognized. 5. Employees who ask questions or don't accept what the owners/ leaders say are punished in one of the other way. Every decision and action is questioned and criticised. 6. The marketing, business strategy and revenue targets of this company are revised on a regular (daily) basis and depends on the new/fancy words the decision makers come across.
