I respect everyone's opinions on how they view the company, but it really does surprise me that there are so many positive reviews about Perpetua. The product itself is good (for bigger Amazon advertisers), but it is evident that Perpetua really nickel and dimes smaller sellers on Amazon. It's very difficult to see these customers invest so much money and us promise them so much just to see them fail and our product waste their money. The cost of the software is a drop in the bucket for bigger customers. For smaller customers, it's sometimes 10% of their advertising budget. The level of support that they receive is insufficient for what these advertisers actually need. Company operations, standards, and expectations are changing way too frequently. It will get to the point where you stop listening to weekly syncs and meetings because nothing will ever stay the same. The information that you are given one week is usually contradicted in the information given the next. The CEO has gotten drunk many times at parties and has said some horrific things to employees. The latest thing he did was blow up on a female employe (mind you this was a new employee to Perpetua through the merger between Sellics and Perpetua) and said horrific, misogynist things to her. Absolutely nothing was done to correct this (maybe he went on a retreat to "reflect on his actions"). No announcement was made and no public apology either. I would hope that if any employee says something similar to what he said, they would be canned on the spot. Later that month our CEO was being praised as "our fearless leader" during a company-wide presentation. VERY dystopian. Abuse of power with no repercussions. You'll see this said in a few of the negative reviews, but it is true that Perpetua is a "boys club". If you are a male out of college that isn't looking to shake your frat boy ways, then I think Perpetua is actually a good fit for you. If you're over the age of 25 or view yourself as a somewhat mature person, then I don't think this culture is a good match for you. Be prepared to be doing work that is out of your scope. Too often you will be expected to become support, finance, sales, and customer success all at the same time. Yes this is an aspect of being part of a smaller company, but it gets ridiculous sometimes.
