Pros

Decent pay, offers overtime most of the time

Cons

Management will go behind your back and bend/break their own policies to get rid of someone they never had a conversation with as long as someone continuously badgers them. Nonsensical cleanliness regulations with handwashing sanitizers before gloving up and hairnets/beardnets/helmets being worn into the bathroom then back onto the floor. Incredible lack of communication and understanding and willingness to drop years long employees for fresh faces simply because there's a partnership with a larger company. Safety practices are laughable and rarely if at all enforced.

Pros

Easiest production job ever, including mixing, if you're in shape. You could sit or stand around all day and stare at your phone because the Supervisor didn't enforce ANY rules, unless their boss was around. They themselves would not follow Safety rules, even vaping or smoking by the dumpsters, or just out of sight from Cameras.

Cons

No enforcement of safety, except from the Boss who reveled in Delight with her "power" to fire people and storied reminders of such delusions. Everyone who wanted to work after getting enough hours to be eligible for full time employment and benefits we were surprised with a call, notifying us we were laid off on NY's eve, with a " Happy New Year ! " The majority of the full timers are so ignorant, they either couldn't say one sentence without being narcissistic, swearing or talking negatively about the company that basically hands them a paycheck. This won't post if I speak about HR, which is basically non existent. When one of the full timers tries to provoke an argument, the Supervisor begs everyone involved to keep it quiet. Also, delayed or missed paychecks hurt some people but that was the least of my concerns. The new safety Supervisor even quit after two weeks. Should've been another sign. I would feel even more ignorant after this experience if I wasn't prepared, although I have empathy for those who are less motivated or fortunate.
