Pros

Certain departments have availability to work from home. Can bring your pet to work.

Cons

Poor pay when compared to responsibility and insurance licensing required. Very poor training program for sales and customer service. Middle managers lack insurance experience and have no knowledge of actual policies being sold. Be prepared to spend lots of time coaching your manager on how a policy works. If in claims, be advised that manager has no veterinary experience either. Needs much hand holding on what medical conditions are and how they relate to policies. They frequently advertise for vet techs for the claims department but do not support maintenance of vet tech license. Prefer for you to be licensed as an insurance adjuster instead.

Pros

I've never worked in a more positive work environment, they are all about the culture and keeping employees happy. Laid back atmosphere, we have monthly activities, you can bring your pet to work. Management and HR are easy to talk to, treat you fairly, listen to your ideas and communication is outstanding. And you get to talk to pet parents excited about their new family members all day, what's not to love!

Cons

Starting out on the night shift, although I was promoted to days fairly quickly.
