Pros
* Good work/life balance * Immediate teammates are great to work with * Health insurance cost/coverage is good (that's the only good benefit) * Company mission (if not execution) is noble * Free cold brew at San Diego site.
Cons
* Mediocre salary (which is based only on pharma peers, not role or job type peer groups, nor local cost of living). * Top leadership in Digital organization have minimal experience in the "meat" of their teams; they're frequently shuffled around in order to continue justifying promoting them. * Career progress is often based on meeting demographic checkboxes or personal favoring, with "meeting planners" and "paper pushers" being preferred to people with actual skills. * Technical roles in the US are currently being moved to Greece so if you're in the US in such a role, you don't have any meaningful future in Digital. * LTIs are often not worth very much, and only vest as a single lump-sum * Site in San Diego is quite long in the tooth; refreshes that are happening are very superficial. Cafeteria is overpriced and average quality.
