Pros

experience in Pharma industry, CGMP, ALCOA, FDA audit. Working in Tuas South. Bus transport. Insurance medical benefits (GP consult and specialist under panel) flexible benefits Tuas manufacturing flexible off day. Many learning opportunities, Lean six sigma, kaizen, for manufacturing enviroment. Grateful for the training and learning opportunities and transferrable skills. Pfizer is a great manufacturing company that has many learning and training development. Met some of the nicest , and wonderful colleagues and mentor here in Pfizer

Cons

Insane work load due to manpower headcount budgeting ( 1 person running a minimum of 3 person workload) Be expected to the long working hour and ridiculous dateline. Salary is very low compared to other industry and the remuneration is not worth the torture and mental health. Change in the management with huge influx from A particular competitor company that has a total complete different culture as the PFIZER culture. The management SLTs do not embrace and encourage Pfizer culture. The management SLTs are only focus on deliverables and minimum care to employees well being and growth. TUAS sg site. Any one who wishes to avoid mental Health (depression, work anxiety) - look elsewhere. Any one who wishes to start a work life balance- you are in the wrong place.

Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, culture on-site was great before the two rounds of layoffs in 2023.

Cons

No HR oversight on-site, and HR is difficult to reach when needed. Two significant layoff rounds in a single calendar year were poor for morale. Some inexperienced managers demonstrated extremely unprofessional behavior, bordering on abuse, and should not have been in their roles. Culture of cronyism and incompetence among some of the employees who have worked there for decades was revealed following layoffs of >50% of the site. Toxic work environment with poor work-life balance for the final 8-9 months before the site was shut down.
