Poor upper management
Controlling oversight and micromanaging from owner.
Outdated equipment. Scripts and patient files are all paper and passed from work station to work station. No barcoding to ensure accuracy. Computer software is being developed internally (what could go wrong!?).
Poor resources. Owner won’t pay for upgrades or resources like compounding memberships to national organizations.
“Executives” from Corporate are sent to home locations to oversee operations but don’t have a grasp on operations themselves.
Marketing and promotion ideas end at including postcards in patients bags. No real outsourcing to bring in new business.
Very stressful and unwelcoming atmosphere. If you are a professional or a pharmacist, apply elsewhere before deciding to work for this company.
