Pros

The company began with a good, positive mission but has some serious growing pains. The management needs to focus on fixing internal problems within the company as to not have disgruntled employees. Fun happy hours and occasional volunteer events. These are the people you want to be your drinking buddies, not your employers.

Cons

Phoenix is a place that initially makes you think it is a great opportunity due to the sales experience, fun office culture, and belief that you are making a positive impact on the environment. However, after further introspection, the company is not transparent to their employees (or clients) and expects extreme results from their employees after basically no formal training whatsoever. Advertised as "entry-level," the energy sales consultant position requires employees to manage their own book of business with little to no training on the energy industry, sales strategies, or account management. The CEOs and manager promise guidance and mentoring and do not follow through, leaving employees to try and meet unreal expectations to make commission. In addition, by being an ESCO, many clients refuse to listen to the sales pitch as this market has scammed many people in the past- therefore transparency within the company and with clients should be key, but is extremely lacking. This company could be a success but has a LOT of issues and management really needs to concentrate on supporting and training employees instead of hiring a bunch of people and hoping one person out of the bunch is successful.
