Pros

Remote? (won't be for much longer) Discounts that don't work

Cons

Literally every benefit was cut, even the pension is just at 3%. Had learning budget - cut, flexi friday - cut, personal development day -cut, unlimited holidays, as you guessed it, cut and then layoffs. The company is doing very badly financially and the management are unable to actually see what's wrong. Working on features that never make it to students and always rushing to complete and start on the next thing that does nothing again. Zero insight and silly ideas making user experience worse by unskippable screens and asking access to user data for features, As far as room to grow in the company, there is none, there are some "coaching sessions" with arbitrary and very loose goals that are very easy to interpret the way they want to deny you a raise or promotion. You are being overworked and have introduced measures to measure productivity that was supposed to not be taken into account, but guess what, they were taken into account, of course in a way that benefits the company, so they are very unreliable and untrustworthy. Also, they expect you to stay for a couple of years and if you don't leave, you are being let go because you cost too much and you will be replaced with juniors. So if you're not a junior and see a role opening, just skip it, it is not worth your time or your sanity.

Thank you for your feedback. We have recently made some very difficult decisions to ensure the longevity of the business and stability for our employees going forward. We regularly share our vision and business plan with all employees to ensure clarity. Additionally, we are reviewing our learning support, which works alongside our competency frameworks, learning budgets, and coaching and mentoring. Pion.

Pros

Great immediate team that wants to do quality work.

Cons

The level of nepotism within this company is deeply concerning and has severely eroded trust. I no longer feel there is a safe or honest environment to work in. Raising concerns is not encouraged or protected. The culture of forced positivity makes it unsafe to speak up, and employees who voice valid issues risk retaliation, including termination. I once genuinely loved my role and believed in the company, but over time the lack of consistency in leadership direction and goals has become impossible to ignore. The business operates in ways that feel unethical—misrepresenting information to clients and internally to benefit leadership financially, while the broader team is overworked, underappreciated, and burned out. This is, without question, the most dysfunctional organization I have worked for.
