Are working for Pitt County sheriffs office was one of the best positions I have ever held. There was plenty of opportunities to advance in your career. The supervisors and fellow officers are easy to get along with and work with the pay to start is more than surrounding areas.
Cons
The only con is going from nights to days every two weeks, but that is shiftwork and it’s part of the job.
