Pros
The job itself is not difficult and when tips are good, it is nice.
Cons
If you are the delivery driver, you are basically just a glorified dishwasher inbetween deliveries. It isn’t hard necessarily, just not what I expected. The deliveries can either be sparse or overwhelming depending on the day and time, and tips vary a lot. When I first joined, the training video implied that Pizza Hut was very welcoming, but I feel isolated by most of my coworkers, and have a lack of support there when the store manager is not present. The schedule is put out in the afternoon every Monday which affects the scheduling at my second job and prevents me from being able to plan ahead. There are also zero benefits to working there. When I was sick, I was forced to go get a doctor’s note despite informing my manager that I did not have insurance, and had to pay almost $300 out of pocket.
