1. With a fast headcount growth in India over the last 3 years and plenty of acquisitions over the last 7-8 years, culture varies across different parts of the organization. However, there are ongoing efforts to build up more harmony and alignment across the organization, as well as broader awareness about customers, market and business landscape, company performance and more.
2. Lack of trainings on modern technologies, AI and data. Trainings, either arranged in-house or through partnership with institutions, could go a long way in modernizing and upskilling the workforce - which is a must-have in the face of the latest disruption caused by AI.
3. Recent stringency around 2 days/week WFO expectations. Puts employees with long commute + evening calls at disadvantage.
4. The HR policy accommodated sabbaticals till some years back, but no longer now. Extending sabbaticals to employees to support caregiving responsibilities, studies or other personal needs is a good employee care measure.
