Workload is overwhelming since you’re doing multiple jobs at the same time (partly due to staff inadequacies and partly due to low head count) Directionless as an organisation. Lack of strategy and broader knowledge of the market and their competitors (mainly due to the strategy coming from individuals who have not worked in the industry or only working for TalkTalk for their entire career). SLT are more focused on kicking insolvency down the pipeline. High risk of redundancy Older staff who have been there for decades and have become complacent. Would not recommend for short term moves, for anyone in the telco sector hoping to advance their career, or younger individuals. No bonus - recruiters will lie about this. Salary is larger at other telcos and is unlikely to change (small gifts which are less than inflation).
