Pros
Company values and goals have significantly changed during my tenure. Originally it was the Wild West, with corporate politics and petty small-office backstabbing leading the fray. Significant changes in middle management and new policies from upper management have changed the culture to the point where loyalty is desired and rewarded, rather than keeping "King of the Hill" silo-based ethics.
Cons
Despite the positive changes in culture, opportunities for advancement are still very limited and rare, primarily restricted to management-tier jobs. There are plenty of lateral-movement job opportunities though, as Sony expands its cloud services with Gaikai.
