Starts off good - Compliance Clerk Plus Credit Union Employee Review

I haven’t experienced any pros in this job

Very small credit union, consistently concerned about budgets for everything it’s extremely stressful. You don’t know if you’ll have a job the next day with their budget concerns and their concern of a merger when the ceo retires. Since they don’t have the budget to hire enough people, PLEASE PLEASE know that you will be COVERING most departments tasks. Even though some financial institutions have high turnovers, theirs is exceptional. And here’s the most disturbing part, some of the senior managers are HR, so when you’re talking to the IT manager, you have no idea which department they’re representing that day. Also says a lot about checks and balances. All in all, extremely unprofessional, stressful, no significant contribution to your professional growth place to work in.

They hire you, put you at the desk with a phone and bib ity bob ity boo! There you go! NO TRAINING at all. If you complain about wanting to be a good employee and actually do your job well, you become the problem. The CEO is the worst CEO I ever met at a Credit Union. Appears to get more joy sitting upstairs watching everyone from her computer, waiting for them to fall, than to actually watch someone succeed! I find that to be a HORRIBLE PERSON TO WORK FOR! SHE NEED TO RETIRE or go to COUNSELING FOR HELP!
