Pros

The culture seems fine, you have positive employees, and happy hours every month. Fully-remote. 4 weeks of vacation.

Cons

Frequent layoffs without notice. Reluctant to modernize tech stack.

Hi there! We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback on your experience with us. We work hard to make PocketHealth a great place to work, and our optional monthly happy hours provide us with an opportunity to connect in-person and balance working remotely. We’ve been fortunate enough to not have to do any org-wide layoffs as we continue to grow our business sustainably and with intention. When it comes to individual performance, feedback is offered in a variety of ways to try and support the employees of PocketHealth, and we have a twice-yearly performance cycle in addition to ongoing 1:1 conversations with direct Managers. As a founder-led company (our CEO & CTO), technical decisions are made strategically, with thought given to how technical (and other) decisions can impact our entire platform. Our Sales tech stack consists of some of the industry’s most well-known technologies, including Salesforce, Groove, ZoomInfo, Gainsight, just to name a few. Thanks again for leaving your feedback, and we wish you the best of luck in your next role!

Pros

The culture at PocketHealth is one of the best parts of working here. Everyone is genuinely kind, helpful, and easy to work with, and there’s a strong sense of collaboration across teams. I’ve always felt comfortable asking questions and know I’ll get support, whether it’s from teammates, management, or HR. The flexibility is also a huge plus. The role is fully remote, but there’s still the option to go into the office if you want to. There are little things like occasional office lunches, generous PTO (20 days), and unlimited wellness days that make a big difference in day-to-day work life. Work-life balance is really respected. There’s no pressure to start early or stay late, and while overtime is available, it’s completely optional. There’s also a strong sense of diversity and inclusion. It’s a very diverse team, and it’s encouraging to see so many women in leadership and key roles.

Cons

As with many growing companies, teams often juggle multiple priorities, and workloads can feel busy at times. There is also currently no retirement plan offered, which may be a consideration for some.

The environment is fast-paced and challenging in the best way, which helped me become more confident and sharpen my skills quickly. Overall, it’s a great place to grow your career!

Cons

Healthcare sales has a learning curve, so ramping up on industry knowledge can take time.
