Pros
High energy work place that is always growing and evolving. Podium is a very exciting place to work if you enjoy change. In Podium's case the change is the company becoming more and more corporate and political.
Cons
Podium had an outstanding startup culture during its early days, but now uses that as a facade to make employees and prospective talent think they are part of something special. They continually give out cheap swag to employees, on what seems like a weekly basis, to make employees feel like they are being taken care off. But at the same time promises of raises or promotions are not met unless you are politically tide in or are an individual the company can use as a virtue signaling poster child. In addition to that, the bonus structures are merely an unattainable carrot dangling over your head that's pushing you to work harder and harder each month. Although it is incredible what Podium has done over the years, they are simply a sales company selling simple tech, not the other way around. There is nothing exciting or innovative about their products. They just have an intense sales machine that pushes product on businesses in order to achieve hyper growth revenue goals. If you're in sales at Podium and exceeding quota, you're the hero. If you're not in sales but still really good at what you do, you're just anybody else. If you're in sales at Podium and have a bad run, you're out!
