Pros
Poetic continuously presents me with the opportunity to grow exponentially unlike any of my previous employers. I am far from perfect, but our leadership team provides me with the resources, patience, and moral support to iron out the wrinkles in my current skillset all while watering the seeds of my future.
Company & office Pros:
- no defined vacation limit
- flexible hours
- variety of projects to avoid getting burned out
- incredible developer desk setups (multiple monitors and adjustable desks)
- catered lunches every now and then
- dev/design team usually controls the office music
- incredible views of Downtown & Galleria area
Cons
Some areas of the the job still feel unstructured/startup-esque and are left to the team to figure it out. Because of this, we have been forced to create and implement these structures on our own.
