Pros

The facility is beautiful and I worked with a good team of people. Very competitive pay (it only goes so far though)

Cons

This place literally gave me mental breakdowns and I typically do well under stress. When you have to get medicated to handle a job you know it's time for a career swap. Polamer is in need of a serious cultural shift to keep up with the new age of manufacturing workers. The expectations vs the payout are not there. The culture is terrible because the morale is trash among people on the floor and the salary people are seen as completely disconnected. There is a ton of in house fighting between hourly departments, leaving people very defeated and frustrated. There is no trust with upper management and the floor. Smart people are not trusted and forced to do work far below their skill level, even are demoted in pay at times for not following what they're told even if it makes no sense to a skilled machinist. Management puts alot of fault on workers instead of their terrible communication and traceability software system. They micromanage salary workers and put ridiculous expectations on them. You wont even gain credible aerospace experience because it is only relevant to this place. Also good luck getting past the family bonds. They go so deep that the issues on the floor will never be resolved because the people causing them are all relatives of higher ups.
