Pros

If you are ready to work hard and be challenged, you will succeed; Polar Power is no exception. This company is growing fast and has continued improving. The rewards are coming with more success ahead. Great technology; DC power generators are innovative compared to the standard. Polar will customize solutions as needed, which is rare.

Cons

More great engineers are needed as we continue to grow.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. We agree 100% that we need more engineers. We currently have approx total of 20 engineers between our offices in Namibia, Poland, Australia, and LA. We will be seeking another 10 engineers between now and the end of the year.

Pros

No drug test at all

Cons

Basically everything. If you're looking to get in quick and just get some money into your pocket, this place is great. If you plan on actually working safely, developing a 401k or putting your benefits/vacation to use then you should look elsewhere. Management is unorganized, work conditions are unsafe, employees do drugs and consume alcohol in PLAIN SIGHT in front of the building on every break or lunch. Payroll doesn't always record you hours correctly, they constantly want you to work overtime but after your 10th hour there is NO extra break or lunch when you approach working a 12hr shift. Two of the three warehouses do not have drinking water, any means for employees to find refreshments, at times the water bill is not paid for running water inside the facility for the restrooms to be used properly. The vending machines at times take your money without dispensing any of the things you pay for. During the rain, plenty of electrical equipment is left on the floor making it hazardous for employees that are in the surrounding areas. In addition to that few of the power, pneumatic or hydraulic tools have proper safety covers, labels or even instructions on how to properly use them. Plenty of injuries have taken place without management taking responsibility or even providing the means for the injured employees to recover properly and in a timely fashion in order to work. Usually another replacement employee is hired on in order to resume all of the heavy work load with poor scheduling for delivery. So if you’re looking to get into this job, make it temporary and short term for the sake of your health
