Working for Portico Property Management has been one of the most supportive professional experiences I’ve had. They make a real effort to understand your goals, your strengths, and where you want to go in life. That support goes far beyond day to day work responsibilities. I’ve personally experienced this while pursuing schooling in a completely different industry. Instead of seeing it as something separate from my role, the team at Portico has gone above and beyond to support me. They’ve been encouraging, flexible, and genuinely excited about my future even knowing that my long-term path will take me in another direction. That level of support and authenticity is rare!!!! The culture here is built on respect, encouragement, and strong relationships. Leadership truly values their people and works hard to create an environment where everyone feels supported and appreciated. You’re not just a number here, you’re part of a team that wants to see you succeed both professionally and personally. If you’re looking for a company that truly invests in its people and treats employees like individuals with real goals and ambitions, Portico Property Management stands out in the best way. *insert happy tears*

Cons

The only real downside is that the team is so supportive and the culture is so positive that it might raise your expectations for every future workplace. LOL. After experiencing executives who genuinely care about your goals and coworkers who actually support each other, you may find yourself thinking, “Wait… this isn’t how every company operates?” when you go somewhere else. Tough standard to beat!!

Pros

Not many since PTO policy changes and micromanaging. benefits are the same or worse as other property management companies.

Cons

They just changed PTO policy, they don't have sick days so you had to use PTO and now you can't use PTO to call in sick, you can now only call in if you have jury duty, a family member dies, or you have to be in the hospital or do FMLA. So if you are sick you have to pay to go to the hospital, they will not even take a doctor's note now or you just have to show up sick to work but regionals and corporate get unlimited PTO. If you have a child do not work here they will not excuse your absence to take care of them if they get sick unless they die.
