Great people, growing pains - Product Manager Poshmark Employee Review

Pros

The people are hands down the best part of Poshmark: kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in each other. It’s one of those rare places where you can find real mentors and lifelong friends. Highly recommend as a launching pad for your career. Flexible hours, free lunch and snacks and occasional merch are a nice bonus too.

Cons

No 401k matching and comp isn’t super competitive. Commute to Redwood City can be a drag depending on where you live. Decision-making has become increasingly top-down in recent years, which has slowed things down. Weak product leadership and not many perks beyond the basics.

Pros

- Work life balance is decent (for now, might change) - Free daily lunch

Cons

- Culture Shift: Do not rely on historical reviews. The executive transition in late 2025 fundamentally altered the day to day work environment. - Lack of Clarity: Strategic direction from the top is highly fragmented, leaving team ownership and individual accountability confusing. - Stagnant Mobility: Professional development has stalled, with minimal internal investment in employee career growth. Post Acquisition Friction: Following the acquisition, the corporate environment has shifted toward a rigid, highly bureaucratic, and top down operational style. Low Psychological Safety: Organizational changes have significantly eroded trust and psychological safety across teams.
