Pros

They train you really well and they beat the sales process into your head which makes is easier to find a better sales job. They also hire really cool people and I made a lot of friends. They throw a lot of social events and the Mexico trip is incredible.

Cons

Mind Numbing. Repetitive. Boring. They call it "Inside Sales" but its glorified Telemarketing. Its entirely scripted so get ready to repeat yourself 100+ times a day. You will be tricking homeowners into scheduling a "free" estimate and you can't tell them is that it's actually a 3 hour presentation about how great Power is and ends with high pressure sales tactics to bully unknowing home owners into signing for high interest loans for our extremely overpriced and mid quality exterior remodeling. I would constantly hear customers complaining that the siding and doors that they paid $100,000 was leaking or letting air come strait in their house and we told them it would be 6 months to a year before we could fix it. Don't get me wrong, there were people making good money in the department but 75% of us were barely clearing base salary.

Pros

Power encourages and supports growth more than any other company I've worked for. The training, coaching, and leadership development opportunities are exceptional, and there is a genuine focus on helping people improve both professionally and personally. I've built valuable relationships, gained confidence as a leader, and developed skills that extend far beyond sales. For those who are motivated, coachable, and willing to put in the work, there are tremendous opportunities for growth, advancement, and long-term success.

Cons

The company operates at a fast pace and maintains high expectations, which can be demanding at times. However, Power is constantly evolving, requiring employees to adapt quickly to new processes, priorities, and opportunities. While these changes support growth and innovation, success often depends on strong time management, resilience, and a willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.
