Pros
You have the potential to earn good money at times. The most I earned in one year was $100k. It should have been more but so many customers cancel after realizing they overpaid and were pressured into buying.
Cons
Extremely long hours, 100% commission, high pressure sales, high customer cancel rate. Management will sell you on the idea that this is the best job ever. It’s almost like a fraternity or cult. They will tell you to promote how amazing it is to work there. When your sales numbers are not up to their standards, they will tell you that it is your fault. Most sales reps only last 1-2 years and either quit or get let go. This job is not for you if you want to spend a lot of time with your family or significant other. You are required to work all day and spend 3-4 hours in each appointment. If you don’t sell, you don’t make money. I lasted 2 1/2 years before quitting. I’m 100% happier and am currently making a significant amount more money. The owners spend so much money on their Christmas party in Cancun because the job is so grueling. They are able to do this by overcharging all of their customers. You have to drink the kool-aid to last here
