Pros

Hands on Deja vu and some great colleagues

Cons

Bad management, bad leadership. Racist and sexist comments. I was hired for a very specific mission and then, other managers made my life a nightmare, not giving me access to basic working tools. They tried to undermine my performance and complain in my back to Management. They saw me as a threat instead of an ally.

Pros

None. I have to enter 5 words. I have no pros to enter, but now I have fulfilled the word count.

Cons

Powerling can't be trusted. They treat contractors/freelancers in a very poor manner. They acquire companies and try to piggy-back off of the trust the other companies have built with freelancers but do nothing to uphold their end of the deal. For instance when they acquired WCS that owed many freelancers money, Powerling refused to pay. Some were owed thousands. I worked for several companies that Powerling acquired, this is how I know. To clients out there: Stay away from Powerling. There are so many other and better choices.

Pros

The team. The people who work here and professional, collaborative, enjoyable and hard-working. Healthy work cultures are hard to find and this company is making a real effort to look after the people. As well, because of the high-growth phase there is a lot of opportunity for skilled workers to develop and implement strategy. The leadership team are open minded and are happy to be challenged on new ideas!

Cons

Businesses in high growth often experience pace-of-growth challenges but this is normal in any industry.
