Pros

Remote job Good pay Decent Benefits

Cons

Overbearing, toxic management who don't really care about you as a person and your health, it's all about getting those numbers, I'm guessing that is how they receive their bonuses. People on the "team" who are not nurses makes you question why they needed some that were RN's. Unclear goal, unsure what it is that this position actually does for their members. Micromanagement.

Pros

Ability to choose your own hours for the most part.

Cons

Offshoring and upper managements refusal to see it's hurting the company instead placing the blame on FTEs stateside. BC Claims missed failed to meet a certain guarantee, now upper management wants extremely detailed reports on the workers stateside in an effort to let more of them go since they think onshore claims is overstaffed. Management fails to see the real reason why things are like they are. Offshore workers are incapable of handling more than one thing so their work involves lots of pending of claims which raises the day in house numbers while at the same time working inaccurately. It's no surprise BC failed to meet goals when they got hit the hardest with layoffs and had the most Cognizant workers move in.
