Pros

I met some great people there from various industries and formed some great friendships. The money (when they were paying us) was good.

Cons

Terrible planning, management. they tried to grow too fast. We got one pay a few days late which was unusual, the next month it was a week late, within 6 months we were 4 months without pay. this continued for a year. they drip fed us 50% every month or so until we were 6 months out of pay again. That is when I left and returned home. They paid me in full becuase they wanted me to come back and run a project. However other people in the exact same position that had left have not recieved a cent to this day. I never returned. They treat their workers like slaves. The non western workers have their passports taken when they start. We had to fight to get one of our boys passports back so he could fly home to bury his father that died 3 months earlier. We also paid for his ticket as he had not recieved any salary for months and they would not issue him his yearly return ticket home.

Pros

Business developers with relevant connection in the industry to bring challenging and professionally rewarding projects. Flexibility in working hours.

Cons

Senior managers' complete lack of accountability: Personnel have endured 3 years of constant salary delays that reached its worse point in 2018 when the company completed 7 months of not paying its employees. Most of the departments are lead by uneducated and unskilled people. Based and developed around a cheap labour business model that that relies heavily on large number of unskilled personnel that cannot communicate clearly in the default language. Constantly outsourcing work and talent due to incompetency and technical incapability. Compensation packages are inferior for the region, with low-coverage medical insurance as the only employment benefit and absolutely no perks. In-existent establish professional development paths for employees, with lousy performance reviews practices and systems that are done to tick the boxes during external audits. A rather poor team culture.

Pros

I was still lucky to have experience working here because I got exposed with wide variety of interesting projects where I learned a lot from.

Cons

Though I learned a lot, it was still an unpleasant experience for me overall. I never felt once that the management cared about us at all. They only cared about their on personal interests and what would make them look good.
