- Working remotely with a flexible schedule. - Really nothing else.
Cons
- Toxic work environment. - Paychecks come EXTREMELY late for both contractors and employees. As in months late, if you ever see it at all. Threatening legal action is the only way to (maybe) get paid. - Management lies about when your paychecks are coming to buy themselves more time. There are no apologies offered. - Management continued to hire new people when they couldn't pay the ones they already had. - False sense of transparency from management. - False sense of optimism about the traction (or lack thereof) with people actually using the software. - Lack of communication between teams. - Lack of structure. This is to be expected to a certain extent with any startup company, but it's at an extreme here. - No actual onboarding process for new team members. - Ridiculously length interview process. 9 interviews is a bit much for a part-time contract position. - Hours are totally random.
