Well known and respected in the industry, having worked at Preqin for two years I got plenty of interviews at fund managers; solid grounding in alternative assets; proactive attitude to training - CAIA and CFA; friendly work environment
Cons
The research work is fairly repetitive; you do get opportunities to write published research, but deadlines are tough and editing can be severe
