Pros

Interesting field of work, some of the employees are nice, somewhat flexible

Cons

Everything else. Horrific don’t ask don’t tell culture, atrocious management, unprepared, unwilling to adapt, constantly changing processes and goal posts, next to zero training, openly, antagonistic environment, sometimes downright dangerous. The whole place reeks of a small company that was purchased by a large corporate financial firm and is being driven into the pavement by its own poor management and outdated processes. Use of slurs and horseplay is constant. Employees, throw tools, knives, parts, etc for fun. Frère boy culture with managers that play favorites and openly lie to protect themselves and their favorite employees. Compensation is average at best, with little to zero hope for a raise or advancement. The whole place is toxic.

Pros

You will make money. You will I’ll have company car. You can really generate a name for yourself. The new CEO seems to have his head on straight till he tries to resonate with the reps. The people you work with are good guys and gals. Make your own schedule Commission is pretty solid on sales

Cons

Office is always in shambles and reps take the brunt. Reps will make 30k base. Good luck when you don’t have people pay POs. I have regularly only had a few hundred bucks in the bank after all my bills when things don’t get paid. When something doesn’t get paid you will be asked to assist. You do things outside of your scope of job all the time to appease some new found idea at the office and not be paid for it. High turnover, Managers are glorified secretaries. Perdiem is 150 no meals during the day even if you have large territory. Benefits are a joke. You will be stuck in the position you start at. When you go on a service call you will drive one way for 2-3 hours work on a piece of equipment for 360 dollars, and make 15% of that before tax and make 54 dollars for the day, unless you need parts then it will go up.
