Pros
* Pay- one of the best paying companies in the area, and likely in the whole industry.
* People - I see some reviews here throwing bad labels at the management team. Let me tell you, Pridestar has some of the best upper, middle and lower management in the area. They are knowledgeable, attentive, passionate and caring. That knowledge and those characteristics are passed on to their EMT's, Paramedics and CV drivers, demonstrated through their compassion to help others and commitment to their patients.
* Availability - There are PLENTY of available shifts for overtime, and seldom any limits to hours.
* GROWTH - I have never worked at a company that provides so many opportunities for growth. From FTO promotions, to Field Supervisor promotions, to Operations Supervisor, there is really no limit on the ability to grow. In addition to EMS, the owner is involved in many other industries, allowing for potential to grow into other positions at one of his sister companies.
* Environment - They are known to have an amazing holiday party, St. Patricks day feasts, turkey raffles in November and a spoiled EMS week. They know how to give back to their employees to show their appreciation.
Cons
You wouldn't believe me if I told you there were no cons...so here is the only tough thing I can say about Pridestar...They are busy. Not anything out of the normal, but expect to do some calls.
