Pros

Management is all experienced in the merchant services, credit card portfolio management, and debit card management. The staff is very dedicated and hands on. The opportunity to meet and work with high level executives of small financial institutions and credit unions is very possible.

Cons

The company is very small so the opportunity to advance is limited. The onboarding process is tough being that if you are new you are expected to train yourself. The training process that has been put into place to try and compensate for the new employees is brief, often interrupted by daily business meetings of the trainers, and hard to grasp if you are an outsider to the industry.

Pros

1099 status so they can't tell you when to work. However if you turn down leads far away or because of conflicts, they can become scarce. Chance to make money is there, but training is lax.

Cons

Telemarketed leads that are not qualified. Sometimes you'll drive 100 miles one way to sell high end home improvements to a shack out in the woods.
