Pros
I have been working full time here for 3 years and worked in other places but this organization's engineering team is very innovative and collaborative, allows for new ideas and creativity, and strives to do their best work. Unfortunate decisions had to be made last May, due to events with COVID, which is not different than what a lot of other companies had to do. Flexible work environment made transitioning to work at home during COVID pretty seamless, and coming back to a really nice new building was a nice thing for me. This engineering team is always looking to see how they can improve the product and our processes. Engineers have a say in how we build out products. If you want to learn, or try something new, you can here. As another person mentioned, benefits are always getting adjusted for the betterment of the employee. They really do care for employees and have a honest desire to become even better as a company and grow the products. The recent CKO was very motivating and inspiring of what's to come! Pay is competitive, flexible PTO, flexible work schedule, ability to work at home as needed, equipment you need for doing great work is provided, respectful, and very knowledgeable co-workers to learn from. My days go by fast because I'm busy, and enjoy the challenging work.
Cons
Diversity is getting better, and there are good efforts happening to improve it. From what I see, this started local and small, and over time the growth has allowed more diversity to happen. Remote opportunities will hopefully help in this aspect.
