Pros

I worked for ProCenture early on when the company just started. I was tasked to build a brand new program and department from scratch. It was difficult because of the changing healthcare climate at the time and difficulty entering the market. EMR was being emphasized. The owner ultimately discontinued the program and i left. I had a small but efficient team, we did our best with the resources we had. It was a good learning experience as we had to wear multiple hats being that it was a start-up. Ultimately it was the best decision to move on from the industry

Start-up at the time with smaller man power

Pros

ProCenture has a great team, i enjoyed working there. The staff is very efficient, they get things done, patients love the workflow, very minima complaints, the reviews are always positive. My NP colleagues and very smart and independent, trained well by the Clinical Manager. We are consistently told by our partners that we are the best Transitional care and house call practice in Houston.

Cons

Driving in houston traffic can be a problem during rush hour. Do not have much cons on this practice

Pros

I am happy I stayed with ProCenture HCS. Though it is a small company, there has been so much growth over the past year. The company was going through a lot of changes when I started and several recruiters left for one reason or another, after the company launched the Patient House Calls service but I am glad I rode out the changes. I feel like I am rewarded for hard work and I have the opportunity to take ownership. The owner trusts me with a lot of responsibility and is always transparent about what is going on in the company. As an employee, I really feel valued and trusted.

Cons

Limited resources but expected at a small company. No flex schedule or work from home option for full-time employees.
