There are none, everyone runs out of there at 17.30
Cons
Having worked at the company for a good length of time I would not recommend to anyone going to work here. The company offers no benefits to the staff and the directors lists ‘free tea and coffee’ as a benefit. The hours expected to work are longer than any company I have seen or spoken too, the director also expects people to then take home laptops and work from home. The expenses policy is enough to drive anyone crazy, every single penny is count and receipts have to be provided. Blaming the HMRC for the rules which aren’t true of any other company. Holiday is the minimum requirement but they do allow you to buy more which has to be signed off by a manager. The sales staff are micro managed and every day your calls and time on the phone are checked and if you don’t keep these up you are put on performance management. The culture in the office is be grateful you have a job, they spent some money on some posters which was supposed to change the culture but how do posters change anything? Lunch breaks are monitored and toilet breaks are checks. The directors gets involved in company incentives to stop the top earners from wining where possible as he doesn’t think it’s fair! I have never worked anywhere underperformance is promoted. All the managers/directors have been put in place because they were good at there jobs, this doesn’t mean they are good managers as they all have very little people skills Managers from other departments will not talk to you if you upset them, this can go on for months. Directors then don’t want to manager the conflict as this will cause further issues so sales have to grin and bear it. HR will befriend people on social media In order to watch what people are up to...... They environment is also homophobia, racist and the ‘C’ word is also thrown around when talking about staff. There is no pressure to have a review as they are scared you will ask for a pay rise. There are no pay rises as the director tells everyone there is no money in the business for anyone to have one. The best line of all was when the directors told all the sales staff if you want training ‘google it’ When you hand in your notice, they don’t pay you any of your outstanding commissions, when you take umbrage with this you are told to keep it quiet. There is a power hour every Tuesday which is a desperate attempt by the directors to get sales making telephone calls. All in all is was a terrible experience and this place needs a good shake up from top to bottom.
