Pros

Work at ProctorFree if you do not have a lot of experience in whatever field you are in, and are looking to expand on that experience. Use this company as a resume builder/booster until you can gather enough experience to leave.

Cons

ProctorFree has some of the highest turnover I've ever seen at a company. Even at the executive level. And there are many reasons why: Main reason: unclear future of the product/company. ProctorFree has one big customer that they've been able to hang on to for years, but other than that the future seems meek. There are still lots of problems with the product itself, and not a lot of progression software wise. Lack of perks: In a world now where companies are going above and behind with perks, ProctorFree does not cut it. Offering (enticing) potential employees with free coffee, free lunch sometimes, and being able to wear comfy clothes/flip flops at work isn't enough. If you want to attract great talent than you need to offer great perks (and fair/equal compensation). Lack of culture: Similar to lack of perks. There is zero culture. And that's because upper management/executives don't really recognize it at as need. Others: favoritism with certain employees, inexperienced leaders/poor management, cheap/penny pincher executives.

Pros

Remote setup, flexible schedule, fast onboarding.

Cons

- Criticism here only flows one way—downward, harsh, and meant to tear you apart. - Speaking up was completely pointless. The moment you voiced concerns, you were slapped with labels like “negative” and instantly brushed aside. - I had to keep my mouth shut just to survive another miserable day. - Watching problems pile up while being ignored drained every last bit of energy and hope I had.
