Pros

No pros strong enough to list. Only have cons

Cons

The HR and scheduling team are unorganized and do not care whether you have any work/life balance. The company seems to only care about one thing — and that’s billiable hours. There is no structured training and they will throw you in on any case just to get the billable hours. They change your schedule on the day of and expect you to be flexible and on call. There is no consideration for your drive and will send you to far locations. Cancelled/No Show appointments means you don’t get paid. You are required to confirm appointments with families and then the families will text you on your hours off. I feel as though the values of the company are misleading, shady, and unprofessional. To any therapist with real skills - I highly recommend searching for employment elsewhere.

Pros

Overall good work environment. Coworkers, supervisors, and boss are all very nice. Pay is good. I love all my clients.

Cons

Hours are inconsistent and I have last minute cancellations on a regular basis. Because I don’t get enough hours I do not qualify for any benefits. I feel as if I’m kept under a certain amount of hours so I don’t qualify for these benefits. If appointment is canceled the day before there is no compensation, only 1/2 your hourly rate if it’s a same day cancellation. It is a very independent roll, you are the middleman between clients and scheduling and management. You are also responsible for charting all of your worked hours and assuring that your schedule looks correct and confirming your own appointments with your clients. HR could have better people/soft skills and better communication between the employees, scheduling, and management. I feel like HR is either too hands off on certain concerns or coming onto strong and accusatory in small situations. Lots of miscommunication. Have to learn complicated software and formatting, it took a couple months to get the hang of. I have had to make a case for fair compensation on several different occasions. When you do in-home therapy and the hourly compensation for driving between clients houses is not competitive.
