Pros
Good entry-level experience can be gained, though recent reviews suggest this may no longer be the case as PTP is said to be outsourcing much of their 2024 programs.
Cons
My time at PTP exposed recurring issues echoed in current reviews: Executive team resistant to feedback, performative commitment to inclusion, unethical fundraising practices, poor transparency, and abrupt and questionable employee terminations. These deep-rooted problems were evident during my employment and appear to have worsened. While I was initially hopeful for change, it's evident the insular executive leadership is either unwilling or unable to create a healthy work environment. The consistent leadership "clique" over many years is further evidence of this stagnation and limits the potential for growth. For PTP to reach its full potential, a deep shift in leadership is needed. Until then, I cannot recommend it as a workplace.
