Pros

They are a good recruiting company/contractor, they did their job well (found me a job), and have followed up with monthly to discuss my experience and performance on the assignment as the year went on. They were able to get me a $1 raise within the first month of starting, have been very good at checking up and ensuring you are content with where you are at.

Cons

They have very very thick accents and it can be near impossible to understand what they are saying at times. They mean well, but it almost seems like their entire office is located outside the US,

Pros

Prokackers is a great company to work for. From the initial start, they have been very warm and welcoming. Ankit J, is one of the best, he communicates ineffectively to his clients.

Cons

I am yet to see the bad. All good for now

Pros

I am a W-2 employee contracted through ProKatchers to a large, publicly traded company. The only pro is that the company with whom I am contracted is excellent, and all teams with whom I have worked are productive, positive, and provide a great work culture. All of which has nothing to do with ProKatchers.

Cons

Very poor communication, bad follow up with their contractors. Unfair use of PTO rules. Does not initiate any pay increases, whether cost of living or as a result job performance, even if the company with whom one directly works provides only positive feedback about one's employment. To attempt to obtain a pay increase, ProKatchers requires one to fill out many forms and go through the rigamarole of the request process, only to be denied over and over. In addition, upon employment, they e-mail a 110-page employee handbook and expect you to be able to read and understand it all, and if you miss something important that applies to your employment, they have an "It's your fault, not mine" attitude. I do not like working with them at all. There is a huge discrepancy between what my company pays ProKatchers and what ProKatchers pays me. I am paid significantly less than others in my field who have the same or less experience, and fewer qualifications than I. Basically, ProKatchers is "pimping me out", to use the vernacular. Poor pay, poor communication, poor company culture. Find another contracting company to hire you as a contractor. You will not regret it. I will not stay with them much longer.
