Pros

Small opportunity to manage a showroom and gain sales experience

Cons

Leadership heavily favors family and close associates, leaving non-family employees with little opportunity for advancement or fair compensation. Workloads are excessive due to high turnover and understaffing, with minimal support. Policies are applied inconsistently—minor mistakes by non-family staff are punished, while family and friends are excused. HR lacks independence and protects favorites, failing to enforce rules equally. Compensation, bonuses, and incentive travel are skewed toward executives and family, while non-family employees see little recognition or merit-based growth. There is minimal empathy for personal hardships, and employees are often treated harshly during difficult times. This franchise is mismanaged, and corporate intervention is urgently needed to address these systemic issues and restore accountability.

Pros

No weekends and free snacks

Cons

Probably the most unprofessional place I have ever worked. There is no HR - meaning, anything is said or done with no recourse. Management talks behind everyone’s back, including other coworkers, the owners of that location and their own clients. Pay sucked because it was spent on other things instead of being invested back into their employees. It’s giving high school with all the gossip and cliques except it’s worse because it’s adults and they are the ones in charge of your livelihood.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We have connected with the ownership team in the Atlanta market, and they have shared that they emphasize an open-door policy for any discussions, along with a strong focus on employee satisfaction and customer experience. While each location is independently owned and operated, this environment isn’t the right fit for everyone—but many team members in the Atlanta market have built long careers here, with tenure of up to 25 years. ProSource is committed to providing a professional and supportive workplace and strives to uphold those standards. Thank you, ProSource Wholesale
