We are glad to hear that you find the work to be valuable and the environment to be supportive. We’d like to highlight that our programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of the communities we serve. Some of our Career Advisors work closely with youth, others assist individuals facing barriers to employment, and some support job seekers who may not identify with any barrier. Because of this variety, the day-to-day responsibilities can differ depending on the demographic being served. We strive to maintain consistency across job descriptions and expectations, but as an organization fortunate enough to serve many equity-deserving groups, we recognize that workload can sometimes feel imbalanced. This is not due to inequity in roles, but rather to the demand and number of clients accessing services in each program.
