Pros
Strong leadership team targeting changes required for a healthcare institution to remain effective. Great co-workers. Good healthcare benefits.
Cons
Feels like the management team is throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks - a bit of a panic approach as they try everything to increase healthcare profitability. Huge culture clash between business/tech people hired from outside healthcare, and the existing healthcare professionals who started in the industry to help people but don't understand basic business processes. Existing healthcare leadership struggles to build road maps/project plans/prioritzation that can actually be executed by team members. The repeated vague guidance leads to delivering products that don't meet the expectations of the customers. Current system-wide hiring freeze in place for new hires.
