Pros
The only pro right now is that I work with an exceptional group of colleagues.
Cons
Compensation is stagnant. Longevity pay has been discontinued and this comes on the heels of our paid time off accrual having been frozen on three separate occasions. No cost of living increase. No performance increase this year and I'm pretty sure the managers were told to "dumb it down" because I've always gotten "exceeds expectations" in the past. This was the first year ever that I got "meets expectations." CEO loves himself a great deal and has a phobia of fat people. He wants everyone to be slim and trim and is tailoring the health insurance policy to discriminate against anyone who does not subscribe to what he believes is healthy living. There is no privacy in health records. Employees must now choose a Mission provider, not just an "In Network" provider but a Mission provider. This means your employer is your your doctor and your insurance provider. No privacy whatsoever when it comes to your health records. If you don't participate in the "healthy living" and disease management programs then you pay more for insurance. You have to be a puppet on a string to be a Mission employee.
