Pros

Has capability to be better resource if company would consider quality care management as opposed to quantity in building census. If you offer a quality program the program will grow. Hire better qualified employees. Hold employees to the task.

Cons

poor management, policies not adhered to, rules apply only to some employees, inconsistent, poor quality care, quantity over quality, too much 'play time, phone time',

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
